The Role

As our Founding Designer, you'll primarily own the product design and UI/UX for our consumer mobile apps, with some lightweight support for marketing and brand design needs. You'll rapidly bring design concepts from ideation to production, working closely with the rest of our team to create compelling user experiences that seamlessly integrate AI capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end product design for our mobile apps, from user flows to final UI implementation (80% of role)
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs based on both user feedback and product intuition
• Create and maintain a cohesive design system that scales across our products
• Design intuitive interfaces that make complex AI features accessible and delightful
• Collaborate closely with engineering and AI teams to ensure feasible yet innovative designs
• Conduct lightweight user research to validate design decisions
• Identify opportunities for design-driven feature improvements
• Support marketing efforts with basic branded content and visual assets when needed (20% of role)

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong track record of shipping consumer mobile products
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and relevant design tools
• Experience designing for AI-powered features and interactions
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, layout, and motion
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and platform guidelines
• Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces
